Childline is national organization that works in communities to promote the wellbeing of all children and to protect their rights through various psychosocial support services that include Social Work services, Counselling services (Online and face to face), Lifeskills, Awareness and Prevention programmes.
As part of the Project Activities, Childline South Africa will be conducting HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Awareness Events for Deaf young people (age 19-25) who are out of school and tertiary students The topics that will be covered in the programme sessions with young people include the following:
1. HIV/AIDS
2. Sexual Reproductive Health Rights
3. Substance Abuse
The programme is aimed at assisting young people to have increased awareness of the risks of HIV/AIDS.
