Childline South Africa is beginning to prepare for the 2010 World Cup! No - we are not playing in it - or even at this stage planning to attend matches. However we are concerned about the safety and protection of children during this event.During July 2008 Childline SA participated in a workshop convened to discuss activities directed at the prevention of gender and age-based violence at this event. Once the workshop report is complete, it will be summarized for the Childline newsletter and website. |
